ArtRage for Android offers a realistic painting and drawing experience through a diverse toolkit that simulates the behavior of traditional art tools. The app allows users to smear and blend oils, sketch with pencils, and work with various mediums just like they would on canvas or paper.

Each tool within ArtRage includes settings that replicate real-world properties such as Paint Thinners and Pencil Softness, providing a comprehensive customization experience. The app features default presets for every tool and enables users to create their own specialized presets. Moreover, it supports pressure data from the Samsung S-Pen for natural expressiveness in paint strokes.

Aside from traditional tools like the oil brush, inking pen, and pencil, ArtRage offers essential digital functionalities such as Layers with Blend Modes, a Fill Tool, and the capability to incorporate Reference and Tracing images into artwork creation.

The intuitive interface of ArtRage for Android ensures that important settings remain easily accessible while not disrupting the creative process. Additionally, art created on the app is fully compatible with desktop versions of ArtRage and can be exported in PNG and JPG formats. Users can import photos as paint layers, reference images, or tracing images, and record paintings as Script files for playback in desktop software.

The interface of ArtRage is designed for efficient operation at different resolutions and screen orientations while maximizing creative space. It provides easy access to critical functions such as tool and color selection without interfering with the artistic process. Multi-Touch gestures are supported for canvas manipulation, along with shortcuts for Undo/Redo and Brush Size adjustments. The app also offers Stylus-only mode to prevent accidental finger painting.
